Series of sessions about new environmental legislation
With the aim of changing the working approach, the environment manager starts the sessions about the new environmental legislation and regulation. The sessions are given the aspiring title: The new approach. They are organized on various locations of the company. Five to ten employees take part in the sessions. During all the sessions, an explanation is available with examples and illustrations.
- Introductory session: The new approach
- Session subject: Contact with external parties
- Session subject: The need for new legislation and regulation
- Session subject: Dangerous and toxic waste: Phosphine
- Session subject: Special subject: Fireworks
- Closing session: Evaluation
After a brief introduction by the environment manager, the participants have the floor one by one. Sometimes, serious discussions ensue. Practical bottlenecks in the introduction of the new legislation are suggested, which are later discussed by the environment manager with the environmental service.
Experiences
The environment manager thinks Microtraining provides a good way to involve employees with new subjects. Bottlenecks are identified. It is clear to everyone what the agreements are. There is a structural approach to the introduction of necessary changes. That is also important for certification. When the work pressure is too high, it is easy to organize the session at the different time.
